Navjot Singh Sidhu Speaks On Amarinder Singh, CM Face For Punjab Polls | Exclusive
Punjab News: Navjot Singh Sidhu also hit out at the BJP for inducting leaders from Congress using the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
New Delhi: Training his guns on Amarinder Singh, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu said the former chief minister was hand in glove with the Badal family and accused the BJP of poaching leaders by showing the fear of ED.
At an event of ABP News, Navjot Singh Sidhu said the biggest issue in Punjab was trust. "The people of Punjab have a question in their minds. Who can save a debt-ridden Punjab? Who is the leader who can pull out Punjab from economic problems?" Sidhu said.

Targetting Amarinder Singh, Sidhu said he had been fighting for five years.
"I was made to sit at home within a year and those who made me sit at home are sitting at home today. The doors have been closed for the CM who closed the doors on me. He was not even our chief minister. We had 78 MLAs but we did not have a CM. Our CM was in the hands of the BJP," Amarinder Singh said.
Sidhu also hit out at the BJP for inducting leaders from Congress using the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
"BJP is getting leaders included in its party through ED. Efforts are being made to bring the leaders to their side by showing the fear of ED," Sidhu said.
Sidhu also said the previous governments of Amarinder Singh and Parkash Singh Badal failed to end mafia raj.
When asked about the chief ministerial face for the upcoming Punjab polls, Sidhu said the people should decide that.
"I have given a promise to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi that I will continue to fight under your leadership. I have no conditions. The people of Punjab will decide the Chief Minister. Had I been tempted by posts, I would not have given six resignations," he said.
