Maharashtra Elections: MNS Chief Raj Thackeray Announces Candidates On 2 Assembly Seats

MNS chief Raj Thackeray has announced candidates for Shivadi and Pandharpur assembly constituency ahead of the Maharashtra elections.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray has announced the names of candidates for two assembly seats for the upcoming elections in the state. Bala Nandgaonkar will contest from Shivadi Assembly constituency of Mumbai while Dilip Dhotre will enter the fray from Pandharpur.

According to a PTI report, quoting sources, Thackeray is likely to take on his nephew and Shiv Sea (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray by fieding MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande from Mumbai's Worli seat in the upcoming elections. The MNS leader has been actively engaging with Worli residents and addressing their concerns.

Last month, Thackeray announced that his party will contest on 200 to 250 sets independently. He has also criticised the state's administration, questioning the financial feasibility of the Mahayuti alliance.

Challenging the financial viability of the Mahayuti alliance's schemes, Thackera said that the Maharashtra government lacks funds to repair potholes, how will they find money for 'Laadli Behen' and 'Laadla Bhai'.
