PM Modi Extends Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana For 5 Years In Poll-Bound MP, Targets Congress Over Tribal Welfare

PM Modi said that the Congress never bothered about the welfare of tribals despite ruling the country for over five decades.

Madhya Pradesh Elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be extended for next five years. Speaking at a rally in Seoni in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi took a swipe at the Congress and said that the grand old party never bothered about the welfare of tribals despite ruling the country for over five decades.

During the rally, PM Modi said that there is a gang in politics that does some calculations and makes up their mind by questioning just 5–10 people. "I say this clearly that there is a gang in politics that does some calculations and makes up their mind by questioning just 5-10 people. They should come and see here, it is clear who is winning. Our member of parliament was telling me that a Prime Minister came here after 30 years and I was fortunate enough to get this opportunity," PM Modi said.

PM Modi termed the previous Congress government "scammer" and said that there are no scams now in the BJP government, and the money that the government has saved is being spent on the ration for the poor.

"Before 2014, each scam of Congress used to be worth lakhs of crores, now there are no scams in the BJP government. The money that we have saved for the rights of the poor is now being spent on the ration of the poor. This is the biggest difference between the scammer Congress government and the BJP government," PM Modi said.
