Madhya Pradesh Assembly election results: "We have made several mistakes in distributing tickets" says BJP's General Secy

“Congress has done well, but I cannot say that this is Rahul Gandhi’s magic.”

New Delhi: As Congress is heading for majority in Madhya Pradesh, after three consecutive terms by Shivraj Singh Chouhan led Bharatiya Janta Party government, BJP’s National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya in an exclusive to ABP News said that his party had done several mistakes in distributing tickets to the candidates. The leader said “We have done several mistakes”. The leader also lauded the performance and comeback by Congress; however refused to credit Congress Party Rahul Gandhi for the same. “Congress has done well, but I cannot say that this is Rahul Gandhi’s magic.” Congress bagged 116 seats in Madhya Pradesh as per early trends. The Bharatiya Janta Party however remained at 102; which is 14 short of majority number of seats. The Madhya Pradesh assembly has total 230 seats and 116 seats are required for any party to form the government. If both parties are unable to attain 116 seats after final round of voting, they will have to spread their hands in front of BSP.
