New Delhi: India held its Lok Sabha elections 2024 in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, 2024, to elect all 543 members of the Lok Sabha.

Hundreds of millions of votes cast over more than six weeks. India On Tuesday declared its new leader on Tuesday following a monumental nationwide election. This election has effectively served as a referendum on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decade-long tenure.

After six weeks of voting, the 2024 Lok Sabha election concluded on Saturday, April 19, with a nearly 60% turnout.

The tenure of the current 17th Lok Sabha is set to conclude on June 16, 2024, marking the end of its five-year term. The elections will determine the new representatives and shape the next legislative period in India's parliamentary democracy.

Rajnath Singh

Rajnath Singh won from Lucknow Lok Sabha constituency defeating SP's Ravidas Mehrotra and BSP's Sarwar Malik. Lucknow  voted in the fifth phase on May 20.

Amit Shah 

Uniom Home Minister Amit Shah won with 1010972 votes from Gandhinagar defeating Congress' Sonal patel. Gandhinagar went to the polls on May 7, during the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

Nitin Gadkari

Nitin Gadkari won from Nagpur Lok Sabha Constituency. He faced Yogiraj Alias Yogesh Patiram Lanjewar of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Vikas Thakre of the Congress, and Nitin Jairam Gadkari of the BJP. This Maharashtra seat had recorded a voter turnout of 54.32% when it voted on April 19, 2024.

Piyush Goyal

Contesting in his first Lok Sabha polls, Union Minister Piyush Goyal won in Mumbai North, a seat which is considered to be BJP's safest bet in Maharashtra. It was a straight fight between Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Bhushan Patil, a Congress worker for more than three decades. It went to polls on in the fifth phase.

Dharmendra Pradhan

BJP leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan won from the Sambalpur constituency of Odisha. He fought election against Congress leader Nagendra Kumar Pradhan, and Pranab Prakash Das of the BJD. The Sambalpur went to polls in the sixth phase on May 25.

Pralhad Joshi

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi won Karnataka's Dharwad constituency by 97,324 margin. He defeated Congress' Vinod Asooti. Dharwad went to polls on May 7.

Narayan Tatu Rane

Union Minister Narayan Tatu Rane won from from Ratnagiri Lok Sabha seat. He pitted against Vinayak Bhaurao Raut from Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) of the I.N.D.I.A alliance.  Ratnagiri went to polls on May 7 in the third phase.

Sarbananda Sonowal

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal won from the Dibrugarh Lok sabha seat. He faced incumbent party MP and Union Minister Rameswar Teli from Dibrugarh, one of the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam.   It voted in the first phase on April 19.

Virendra Kumar

Union Minister Virendra Kumar won from the Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh. He faced Congress' Pankaj Ahirwar in the electoral battle. It went to polls in the second phase on April 26. 

Giriraj Singh

Union Minister Giriraj Singh won from the Begusarai (General) Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar for the 2024 general elections.  A total of ten candidates contested for the Begusarai seat in these parliamentary polls. It voted in Phase fourth on May 13.

Jyotiraditya Scindia

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia won by huge margin from Madhya Pradesh's Guna Lok Sabha seat defeating Congess' Rao Yadavendra Singh Yadav, who joined Congress after leaving the BJP in 2023. Guna is historically a stronghold of the Scindia family.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat 

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat won third consecutive term from Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat.He defeated the Congress candidate Karan Singh Uchiada by 111184 votes. Shekhawat previously won this seat in 2014 and 2019. It went to polls in second phase on April 26.

Mansukh Mandaviya

Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya won the Porbandar Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat by defeating his nearest Congress rival Lalit Vasoya by a margin of 3.83 lakh votes. It voted in Phase 3 of the 2024 Lok Sabha election on May 7.

Bhupender Yadav

Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, who has been a Rajya Sabha member since 2012, won his first Lok Sabha election. He contested against Congress' Lalit Yadav from Rajasthan's Alwar Lok Sabha seat. It went to polls on April 19.

Parshottam Rupala

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, Parshottam Rupala won from the Gujarat's Rajkot Lok sabha seat. He pitted against the Congress' Paresh Dhanani. Rajkot voted on May 7. 

G Kishan Reddy 

Union Minister and BJP candidate G Kishan Reddy won from Telangana’s Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency defeating Cong's Danam Nagender from.

Anurag Thakur

Anurag Thakur won from the Hamirpur constituency in Himachal Pradesh defeating Congress' Satpal Raizada and Hem Raj from the BSP. It Voted in the last phase of Lok Sabha Elections on June 1.
