Janata Dal-Secular General Secretary Danish Ali joins BSP ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls

In what comes as surprising development ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) General Secretary Danish Ali, who was a key figure in formulating the alliance negotiations with the Congress and the JD-S in Karnataka, on Saturday joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).

In what comes as  surprising development ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) General Secretary Danish Ali, who was a key figure in formulating  the alliance negotiations with the Congress and the JD-S in Karnataka, on Saturday joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). In yet another significant development, Manish Khanduri , the son of former Uttarakhand CM and BJP leader Maj Gen (Retd) BC Khanduri, is likely to join the Indian National Congress at the public rally of the Congress in Dehradun. Congress President Rahul Gandhi is going to address a political rally at Uttarakhand’s capital city Dehradun later on Saturday afternoon.  The Congress chief is also scheduled to pay a visit to the families of the slain soldiers hailing from Dehradun. The Congress late on Friday night released the third list of 18 candidates, for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls fielding former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mukul M Sangma from Tura parliamentary constituency.
