Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Congress and said that the grand old party has abused him 91 times. During a public meeting at Humnabad in Bidar District in Karnataka, he also said that Congress abuses him like they abuse Babasaheb Ambedkar and Veer Savarkar and he considers it a gift. The Karnataka assembly election for 224 seats will be held on May 10 and the counting of votes will be done on May 13. This is PM Modi’s ninth visit to Karnataka this year since February. PM Modi appealed to people to vote for the BJP and give it a clear majority while he attacked the Congress over its performance in governance and alleged insults.
