Jammu Kashmir Election Result 2024: Check Full List Of Winners So Far For 90 Assembly Constituencies
As per Election Commission data, National Conference vice president and former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah secured victory from Budgam constituencies and is likely to assume the role of CM.
Jammu Kashmir Assembly Election Result 2024: In the highly anticipated elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP, the National Conference (NC)-Congress alliance, and the PDP contested fiercely after a 10-year gap. The voters participated in the three-phase voting in the 90 Assembly seats, for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
As per Election Commission data, National Conference vice president and former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah secured victory from Budgam constituencies and is likely to assume the role of Chief Minister as the Congress-NC alliance surpassed the majority threshold.
Additionally, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made a breakthrough in Jammu and Kashmir's assembly elections, with its candidate Mehraj Malik winning the Doda constituency by defeating the BJP candidate by a margin of over 4,538 votes.
