Jammu & Kashmir And Ladakh: Competitive and Fragmented

In Jammu & Kashmir, the exit polls suggested a highly competitive scenario. The I.N.D.I.A bloc was projected to win 0 to 2 seats, while the NDA was expected to secure 1 to 2 seats. Additionally, "Others", including the National Conference and People's Democratic Party (PDP), were likely to win 2 to 3 seats.

In Ladakh, the exit polls predicted a close contest, with the single seat possibly going to I.N.D.I.A bloc.

Daman And Diu

The Daman and Diu constituency, established in 1987, voted on May 7. The current MP, Lalubhai Patel of BJP, sought re-election against Ketan Dahyanbhai Patel of Congress and independent candidate Umesh Patel.

Chandigarh

In Chandigarh, there was a direct battle between the BJP and the joint candidate of the I.N.D.I.A bloc, fielded by Congress. The BJP aimed to retain the seat, while Congress's Manish Tewari provided a strong challenge.

Dadra & Nagar Haveli

Dadra & Nagar Haveli had a history of fluctuating political fortunes, with Congress winning in the past but recently represented by Kalaben Delkar, who switched to the BJP.

Ladakh

Ladakh witnesses a three-cornered fight involving BJP, Congress, and an independent candidate supported by local groups. The BJP fielded Tashi Gyalson, while the Congress nominated Tsering Namgyal. The Kargil Democratic Alliance fielded Haji Haneefa Jan.

Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep voters faced a three-way contest among NCP (Sharad Pawar), Congress, and Ajit Pawar-led NCP supported by BJP. The constituency voted on April 19 in a single phase, and the seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribes.

Puducherry

In Puducherry, a triangular contest is being seen among Congress, AIADMK, and BJP. Congress's V Vaithilingam faced AIADMK's G Thamizhvendhan and BJP's A Namassivayam. Congress participated as part of the I.N.D.I.A bloc, alongside DMK, Left parties, and VCK.
