ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022: Electioneering is at its peak in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh. Incumbent Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Congress and the new entrant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are all trying to woo voters with voting to be held on Saturday, November 12.

ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022 — Vote Share Percentage

As Priyanka Gandhi increased her visit to the hill state, the ABP News-CVoter survey suggests that it has helped the grand old party. Congress' vote share has increased by 2.5% which has catapulted it to the same vote share percentage as BJP, as per the latest ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll. BJP still edges past its competition with 44.8% vote share expected to go for them, the ABP-CVoter survey suggests. ABP News-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll 2022 — Seat Range Projection

In the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the magic number to cross is 35 assembly seats. As per the latest ABP-CVoter projections, Congress and BJP will swing in a close range of majority. The latest ABP-CVoter Himachal Opinion Poll suggests that the state assembly can be hung, as BJP is between 31 to 39 seats and Congress sways between 29 to 37.

It is to be noted, Congress is making giant strides in Himachal Pradesh and now has reached a contention level. As per October 3 ABP-News Himachal Opinion Poll, BJP was way ahead in terms of gaining the majority in the state. The Saffron party was projected to get from 37-45 assembly seats while Congress dangled between 21 to 29 assembly seats in its kitty as per the ABP-CVoter survey.

In the second opinion poll revealed on October 14, Congress was projected to get 20 to 28 assembly seats, still far away from a majority. On October 14 ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll 2022, BJP was still favoured to be in the state gaining somewhere between 38 to 46 legislative assembly seats.

Voting for 68-member Himachal Pradesh Assembly will take place on November 12 and the counting of votes will be held on December 8.
