Ahead of the Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party appointed co-incharges for Madhya Pradesh And Chhattisgarh.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday appointed Jagtar Singh Diyalpura and Rajneesh Kumar Dahiya as co-incharges of Madhya Pradesh. Diyalpura is currently serving as an MLA of the Samrala Assembly constituency in Punjab while Dahiya reprsents the Firozpur Rural Assembly constituency in the state.

This comes ahead of the Assembly elections slated to be held in both states later this year.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday released 'guarantee cards' and issued nine guarantees for the people to mention what his party will implement if voted to power in the state. In the capital Raipur, Delhi CM along with his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann made announcements related to employment, women, electricity, education, and health in guarantee.

It is pertinent to mention that this year, elections are scheduled to be held in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh, as well as in the northeastern state of Mizoram and the southern state of Telangana.

Last week on Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal promised 300 units of free electricity and 24x7 supply to cities and villages across Chhattisgarh if his party is voted to power in the state Assembly elections that are scheduled to be held this year. "We will provide up to 300 units of free electricity every month in Chhattisgarh," AAP national convenor announced in a public event in Raipur.
