UGC NET 2020: With Just 4 Days To Go For Exams Students Raise Concern As Admit Cards Still Not In Sight

UGC NET Admit Card 2020: The UGC NET exams are scheduled to take place on September 16 yet students have not received their admit cards.

UGC NET 2020: With just 4 days to go for the UGC NET 2020 exams which are going to be held on September 16, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet to release the admit cards for the exam. In its official notification, the NTA has said that the hall tickets will be released 15 days ahead of the date of exam commencement but has still not given any confirmed dates. The NTA had also extended the application correction deadline and reopened the window for candidates who wanted to make corrections in their particulars mentioned in the application form such as the choice of exam centres, or change the photograph and signature. The application forms were accepted up to 5 pm on Wednesday, September 2nd and it was expected that the NTA will release the admit card soon. ALSO READ| JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility: Know About Revised Criteria For Appearing In Exam This Year With no admit cards, student anxiety has increased and many have expressed their dilemma on social media. They have been writing to the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and UGC, tweeting and posting on social media for the same. They are also wondering if the exams will happen at all. Some students have also demanded the postponement of the exams UGC NET 2020 Exams will be conducted by NTA in 81 subjects at different Exam Centers across India to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Assistant Professor only in various Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions recognised by UGC.
