WBPSC Civil Services And Various Other Exams Deferred, Check Details Here

According to the official notification, the commission had deferred the examinations that were scheduled to be held from May 7 to June 30, 2021, until further notice. 

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) on Tuesday postponed WBPSC Civil Service Exam and various other exams. The decision was taken due to the spike in covid-19 cases in the state and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the commission's official website.

According to the official notification, the commission had deferred the examinations that were scheduled to be held from May 7 to June 30, 2021, until further notice. 

"In view of the recent surge in the number of COVID Positive Cases in the State, the Commission has decided in consultation with the State Government, that all Written Examinations scheduled to be taken by the Commission between 07/05/2021 and 30/06/2021 stands postponed until further orders, to prevent the possibility of any further spread of the pandemic," reads the official notice. 

The commission had scheduled to conduct the West Bengal Civil Service main examination 2020 on May 17, 18, 19, and 21, 2021, West Bengal Civil Service preliminary exam 2021 was scheduled to be conducted on May 30, 2021, and West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service Recruitment preliminary examination was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021.

"Fresh dates for the postponed examinations would be announced in due course," further reads the notice. 

Candidates are advised to keep visiting the commission's official website at wbpsc.gov.in regularly for the latest updates regarding the examination.
