WBMSC Recruitment 2019: The West Bengal Municipal Service Commission (WBMSC) has released a notification on the official website - mscwb.org inviting applications to fill 150 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) in the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. The online application process for the same is scheduled to begin from tomorrow i.e. 13th February 2019 on the official website of WBMSC – mscwb.org. The last date for online registration of application and generation of challan is 14th March 2019, and the last date for completion and submission of application is 16th March 2019. Interested candidates must submit their online applications tomorrow onwards to apply for this mega recruitment drive of Junior Engineers by the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission. Vacancy Details: Junior Engineer (Civil) – 100 posts Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – 25 posts Junior Engineer (Electrical) – 25 posts Important Dates: Online application submission begins – 13th February 2019 Online application submission ends – 16th March 2019 Last date to register online and generate challan – 14th March 2019 Last date to pay application fee – 15th March 2019 Eligibility Criteria: Junior Engineer Civil: The applicant must possess a diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent grade with at least 01 year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management /O &M after obtaining diploma; Junior Engineer Mechanical: Candidates should have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent grade with at least 01 year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management /O &M after obtaining diploma; Junior Engineer Electrical: The applicant must have Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent grade with at least 01 year experience in Construction/Supervision/Management /O &M after obtaining diploma. Candidates must read through the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Official Advertisement for WBMSC JE Recruitment 2019 Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 32 years as on 1st January 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given above. Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of PB-4 - Rs.9,000 – 40,500 with Grade Pay 4 – Rs. 4,400/- Application fees: The application fee is Rs.150 plus Rs.50 as processing charges and Rs.20 towards bank charges for challan deposit for general category candidates. SC/ST/PH candidates need to pay Rs. 50 processing charges and Rs.20 towards bank charges for challan deposit only.
