WBJEE Counseling 2021: The registration, fee payment, choice filling, and choice locking process for Round 1 of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Counseling 2021 will be completed on August 16 i.e. today. As per the official schedule, the round 1 seat allotment result will be released on August 19. 

The result of the round 1 seat allotment will be released on August 19.  Candidates selected in the first round will have to pay a seat sanction fee, report to the institute allotted for document verification or withdraw from the counselling process between August 20 and 24.

The WBJEE 2021 counseling process will be completed in two phases. After this, there will be a mop-up round. While the first phase is exclusively for WBJEE-qualified candidates, the second phase will also include seats reserved for JEE Main candidates.

The counselling process has been conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering, architecture, and pharmacy courses at 115 government and private institutes in West Bengal.  The last date for counselling is September 11. The results of more than 60,000 students who appeared for the WBJEE 2021 examination were released on August 6.  

The Round 2 allotment result will be published on August 27 and those candidates who wish to take admission will have to deposit the seat sanction fee. They will have to report to the allotted institutes for document verification from August 27 to September 2. Candidates can also withdraw from the counselling process during this period.
