WB JECA 2023: Application Process Starts January 27 - See Details

The last date to apply for WB JECA 2023 is February 8. The JECA 2023 Exam will be held on July 8, 2023. Applications to be submitted on wbjeeb.nic.in. Read below for more WB JECA 2023 details.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will open the Joint Entrance for admission into MCA course (JECA) application window on January 27, 2023. Interested candidates will be able to apply for WB JECA 2023 through the official WBJEEB website - wbjeeb.in/jeca, once the application process begins. The Application Deadline will end on February 8, 2023. The WB JECA Exam 2023 will be held on July 8, 2023.

Following the conclusion of the application window, a WB JECA 2023 Application Correction Window will also be opened. Before applying though, candidates are advised to carefully go through the JECA Eligibility Criteria, and document required to fill the WB JECA Application Form.

WB JECA 2023: Documents Required To Submit Application Form

Interested candidates will need the following set of supporting documents to fill and submit their WB JECA 2023 Application Forms - 

  • Valid mobile number and email ID.
  • Scanned image of Photograph and Signature.
  • Academic details.
  • Debit/Credit card or Internet Banking

WB JECA 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for WB JECA 2023, interested candidates must fulfill any of the below-mentioned eligibility criteria :

  • Candidates must pass three years BSc Hons from UGC recognized university with at least 60% in Honours (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Bachelor level having Mathematics as one of the subjects together with at least 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 and with at least 60% in Mathematics in both Class 10 and Class 12 level from a recognized board. Or
  • Graduate or equivalent degree in any discipline of a UGC-recognized institute or AICTE-recognized BE/BTech/BCA institute. Candidate must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education. Candidates have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education. Or
  • Candidates must have passed three year Bachelor's degree from UGC recognized university with at least 60% in honours/ aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B/PwD candidates) along with 60% in Mathematics at the Bachelor’s level together with at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent with at least 60% in Mathematics in both Secondary or equivalent and Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations from recognized boards. Or
  • UGC or AICTE-recognized Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates).

  • Visit the official WBJEEB website - wbjeeb.nic.in
  • On the homepage, go to the JECA section
  • Register online and login to the portal
  • Fill in the application form and upload relevant documents
  • Pay the application fee online and submit the form
  • Download and save the application confirmation page for future reference
