UP Board Introduces Grievance Cell To Address Issues Related To UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2024

 This year, the UP Board has introduced a grievance cell to help students with any problems they have regarding their UP Board class 10th and class 12th results.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP declared the UP board results for classes 10th and 12th on April 20, 2024. The board announced the result at 2 pm during a press conference. After the announcement of the UP board 10th, 12th result the board's headquarters will reopen today. This year, the UP board has introduced a grievance cell to help students with any problems they have regarding their UP board class 10th and class 12th results.

UP board grievance cell is a gateway for students to seek assistance in any challenges they have faced in their results. Interested students are advised to submit their applications to the grievance cell, where they will provide resolutions within the specified timeframe. Divyakant Shukla, the Secretary of the UP board shared this information to make sure students know about the grievance resolution process and understand their rights.

Notably, after the result announcement, a three-day holiday was announced both for students and the faculty to take a well-deserved break. Holiday was declared across all five headquarters of the UP board located in Priyagraj as well as regional offices in Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur. 

UP Board Result 2024 Highlights

This year, 89.55% of students cleared the class 10th exams, and 82.60% of students passed in class 12th. In class 10th, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.40%, surpassing boys, whose pass percentage stands at 86.05%. Similarly, in the class 12th exam, the overall pass percentage for girls stands at 88.42%, marking a significant lead of 10.64 percentage points over boys.

UP Board Result 2024 Scrutiny Process

Scrutiny and re-checking process allow students to request a review of their answer sheets if they believe there has been an error in the evaluation. But before applying for the scrutiny, students are advised to read the instructions carefully because sometimes the marks might even get reduced, as the new marks would be the final marks.
