UP Board Grants Recognition To 587 Private Schools

UP Board has provided recognition to 381 schools in the first phase and 206 schools in the second phase.

The UP Board has granted recognition to a total of 587 private schools across the state. The government has provided recognition to 381 schools in the first phase and 206 schools in the second phase. Some schools have received direct recognition for classes 6 to 12, while others have been recognized for additional classes and subjects. Notably, Prayagraj has 168 recognized schools, Meerut has 134, Varanasi has 106, Gorakhpur has 37, and the Bareilly regional office has recognized 92 schools. As of 2023, the UP Board consists of 2,355 government schools, 4,509 non-government aided schools, and 20,737 unaided schools.

UP Board Compartment Exam Dates Revised

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has made changes to the schedule of the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 Improvement-Compartment exam 2023. The compartment exams will now take place on July 22, as announced by UPMSP Secretary Divya Kant Shukla.

Initially, the exams were slated for July 15, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the board has revised the dates. The exams will be conducted at 96 examination centers across the state, accommodating a total of 44,669 candidates. Among them, 18,400 students will appear for the Class 10 compartment exam, while 26,269 students will take the Class 12 compartment exam.

The UP Board Compartment Exam 2023 for Class 10 and Class 12 will be held in two sessions. The Class 10 exam will take place in the morning session from 8 AM to 11:15 AM, while the Class 12 improvement-compartment exam will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

As per the UP board's instructions, students appearing for the UP Board compartment exams 2023 are required to arrive at the examination center 45 minutes before the scheduled start time of the compartment exam. For Class 10 students, the reporting time is set at 7:15 AM, while Class 12 students need to report at the examination centers by 1:15 PM.
