UGC NET Result 2024 To Be Out Anytime Soon; Where & How To Check Scorecard"

UGC NET Result 2024 will be announced by the National Testing Agency on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the UGC NET 2024 results for the June session shortly. Candidates can check their results and cut-off marks on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. While the exams were initially conducted in June, a paper leak led to a rescheduled exam in August. The final answer key has already been released. To check the results, candidates must enter their login credentials, including application number, security pin, and date of birth. Over 9 lakh candidates are eagerly awaiting the results.

The exams took place across various cities in the country on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, and 4, covering 83 subjects. The UGC NET is designed to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges.

Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the 'UGE NET 2024 Result' link.

Step 3: A new page will open, enter your application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Your result will appear, check and download it.

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Roll Number
  • Parent’s Name
  • Percentile obtained in each subject
  • Marks secured in each subject
  • Name of the course applied for

UGC NET Result 2024: Age Limit

For UGC NET JRF, candidates must not exceed 30 years of age when applying for the 2024 exam. However, age relaxation is provided for reserved categories: OBC, Third Gender, SC/ST, PwD, women, candidates with research experience, and those serving in the armed forces are eligible for a five-year relaxation. Additionally, candidates with an L.L.M degree receive a three-year age exemption.
