UCEED, CEED 2024: IIT Bombay To Close Regular Registrations Today, Applications With Late Fee To Begin Tomorrow

The last date to apply for UCEED 2024, CEED 2024 with late fee is November 20, 2023.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) will stop accepting regular applications for the UCEED, CEED 2024 shortly today, November 13, 2023. As per the revised (extended) registrations for both the exams notified earlier, the UCEED 2024 and CEED 2024 registrations with a late fee of Rs 500 will begin tomorrow, November 14, 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for the UCEED 2024 and CEED 2024 Exams with the late fee till November 20, 2023. Interested candidates who seek to join the undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes offered by the IITs can submit their registration cum application forms for the exam on the official websites - uceed.iitb.ac.in, and ceed.iitb.ac.in, respectively. 

As per the previous schedule, the last date to register for the CEED, UCEED 2024 Exams without late fee was October 31, and the last date to apply with late fee was November 8, 2023. However, the application deadline was later subsequently revised till November 13, and November 20, with and without the late fee, respectively. 

As per the official schedule, the IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2024 and CEED 2024 Exams will be conducted on January 21, 2024. While the UCEED Result 2024 is slated to be released on March 8, 2024, the CEED Result 2024 will be released on March 6, 2024. Candidates registered for the CEED and UCEED 2024 Exams will be able to download their admit cards from January 5, 2023 onwards.

UCEED, CEED 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for UCEED 2024, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in any stream in 2023, or should be appearing for their final examinations in 2024. Moreover, UCEED 2024 Applicants from the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must not be born before October 1, 1999, while SC, ST, PwD category candidates should not be born before October 1, 1994 to apply for the exam. Candidates may note that they can only attempt the UCEED Exam twice, and that too in two consecutive years. 

To apply for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates should have a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2024, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2024. There is no age limit to apply for the CEED exam. 

Besides ensuring the eligibility criteria for the CEED 2024 Exam, candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria of the specific institute they wish to seek admission in. This is because of the fact that all the participating institutions in the CEED 2024 might not have a uniform eligibility criteria.

  • On the homepage, click on the UCEED 2024/ CEED 2024 Registration link
  • Register online using your basic details
  • Fill in the application form online 
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee
  • Submit the application form
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
