The online application process for the Telangana NMMS (National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship) 2023 is underway. Eligible candidates can submit their registration-cum-application forms for the scholarship on the official website - bse.telangana.gov.in. Only those candidates studying in Class 8 at present in government schools with no residential facility can apply for the scholarship. The last date to submit Telangana NMMS Scholarship Applications 2023 is October 13, 2023. As per the official schedule, the Telangana NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023 will be held on December 10, 2023.

Candidates may also note that the Telangana NMMS Scholarship 2023 Application Fee is Rs 100 for OC/BC candidates, and Rs 50 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. After the closing of the application process though, concerned School Head Masters will be required to submit the printed copies of applications by candidates along with the SBI fee receipts in the office of their respective District Education Officers by October 16, 2023. 

Earlier on September 29, the directorate notified the application deadline for the scholarship through an official notice on its website. “It is informed that last date to register the application online and the due dates for payment of Examination fee for National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination by the students who are studying VII class during Academic year 2023-24 is 13-10-2023 for further details visit official website http://bse.telangana.gov.in,” reads the official notice. 

Notably, the Telangana NMMS is a scholarship scheme for Class 8 students which aims at providing financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per year to meritorious students. For more details on the Telangana NMMS Scholarship 2023, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
