Techkriti Set To Unveil Rakshakriti, Defence Symposium On India’s Advancements In Military Technology

Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan will attend as the chief guest, while Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, will serve as the guest of honour.

Techkriti 2025, Asia’s largest technology and entrepreneurship festival at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, is set to unveil Rakshakriti, a defence symposium highlighting the country's advancements in defence technology and indigenous military innovations.

The event aims to showcase the nation’s commitment to defence self-reliance and cutting-edge security solutions. Rakshakriti will feature live-action drills, advanced military exhibits, and a tech expo spotlighting the latest in defence technology.

Rakshakriti will bring together some of India’s most distinguished defence and scientific leaders. Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan will attend as the chief guest, while Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, will serve as the guest of honour.

Other key dignitaries include Dr. A.S. Kiran Kumar, former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO); Gen. C.S. Mann, additional director general of the Army Design Bureau; and Dr Ram Sewak Sharma, former CEO of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

Exhibitions: Showcasing India’s Defence Prowess

Rakshakriti will bring together India’s defence powerhouses, emerging startups, and top research institutions under one roof. Exhibitors will include the Indian Navy, Army, Air Force, and ISRO, offering a rare glimpse into their latest advancements.

Leading organisations such as the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will present cutting-edge technologies.

Meanwhile iDEX and IN-SPACe will highlight breakthroughs in aeronautics and space research. Exhibitors like MKU, Bharat Forge, and the National University of Singapore will showcase global advancements in defence engineering.

The event will also feature next-generation robotics and drone technology, with companies such as INDRO Robot, xTerra Robotics, Team Daedalus, and Indro RoboTech unveiling their latest innovations.
