SSC Exam Date 2020: CGL, CHSL, Other Exam Dates To Be Released Next Week; All About Centre Change & Results

SSC Exam Date 2020: The schedule for SSC examination to be conducted for 2020 will be released on September 22 that includes important examinations like Combined Graduate Level and Combined Higher Secondary Level among others.

New Delhi: Even as the pandemic has delayed recruitment examinations, the Staff Selection Commission has released a notice on SSC Exam Date 2020 with details of upcoming exams on the official site at ssc.nic.in. It includes important examinations like Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) among others. ALSO READ | ICSE Compartment Exam: CISCE Begins Online Registration For ISCE And ISC Compartmental Exams The commission will be conduct Selection Posts Examination, Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination and Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator Examination in October and November 2020. As per the latest update from the Commission, the schedule for examination to be conducted for 2020 will be released on September 22.  Other examinations including Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Quantity Surveying and Contracts), Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’, Combined Graduate Level Examination(CGL), Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL), and Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination would be conducted soon as per the notice. Can  you opt for exam centre change? The CGL 2019 exam is still pending. The tier 2 exam will be held from November 2 to 5. Meanwhile, CHSL 2019 tier 1 exams will continue till October 21. The commission has decided to offer the exam center change option for those candidates  whose the examinations were postponed due to the COVID-19 and are now scheduled to be held from October.  The modifications in the exam centers can be done from September 18 to September 20, 2020, by login through the registration number and password. The exams for which centre change request will be accepted are as follow:
  •  Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2019 (Tier-I)
  •  Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2019 (Paper-I)
  •  Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2019
  •  Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) Examination, 2020
  •  Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2019 (Tier-II)
These above exams were scheduled to be conducted from March to June 2020. Check the revised schedule for these exams here exam link. Note, that the option for a change of examination center can be made on the Candidates’ Dashboard under the ‘Latest Notifications’ Tab from Saturday. Here are updates on result front: Meanwhile, the Commission has announced the result dates for several exams conducted in the past. Candidates are awaiting results for SSC CGL Tier 3 exam 2018, Multitasking Staff Exam 2019, and Junior Engineer posts 2019. The Junior Engineer exam result would be released on September 21, while others would release in October. Candidates can visit the official site of SSC to stay updated about the results or any other major announcements.
