All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) registration process is underway. Candidates who wish to apply for Class 6 and Class 9 for the academic year 2024-25 can visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE. The last date to submit the application form is December 16, 2023. Applicants need to pay an AISSEE 2024 Application Fee of Rs 650 upon submitting their forms, while SC and ST students have a reduced fee of Rs 500. Scheduled by the NTA, AISSEE 2024 is set for January 21, 2024. The exam will be in offline mode, using pen and paper, and will take place across 186 cities nationwide. It will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and candidates must mark their answers on the provided response sheets.

“Admission to Class VI and Class IX of the 33 Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25, is through a written exam called AISSEE 2024. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All-India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). The admission of candidates will be carried out on the basis of e-counseling as per rank secured by the candidates in the School wise, gender wise, category wise (Home State and Outside State) Merit List of AISSEE 2024, medical fitness approved by competent medical authorities and verification of original documents,” reads the official AISSEE 2024 handout.
