National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday released the category wise cut off list for all the subjects under UGC NET 2020 Exam, which were conducted in online mode between 24th September and 13th November. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted online without any breaks. In 3 hours, candidates could switch from Paper 1 to Paper 2 as there was no separate time allocated for both. All the questions were compulsory and there was no negative marking for wrong answers. In order to be qualify for ‘JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Assistant Professor’, the General (UR) candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40 per cent while EWS/SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender are required to score 35 per cent.
