JEE Main 2023: Session 2 Provisional Answer Key Out On jeemain.nta.nic.in, Raise Objections Till April 21

Candidates can challenge the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Provisional Answer Key till April 21, 05:00 PM.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key of the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the JEE Main Answer Key from the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates may also note that besides releasing the answer key, the NTA has also started inviting objections/challenges against the answer key. Candidates who come across discrepancies in the answer key can raise objections/challenge the answer key till April 21, 2023 (05:00 PM). However, for objections raised against a single question, candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 200. 

The NTA notified the release of the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Answer Key and the opening of the objection window through a notice on the official JEE Main website. “Candidates, who are not satisfied with the Answer Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. The Payment for the processing fee may be made through Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking till 21 April 2023 (up to 05:30 PM),” read the official notice. 

Notably, following the closure of the objection window, the NTA shall review the objections challenges and then release the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Final Answer Key accordingly. The final evaluation of candidates in the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam shall be done on the basis of the final answer key.

JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Answer Key: Steps To Raise Objections/Challenge Provisional Answer Key

  • Visit the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link to ‘JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Answer Key Challenge’
  • In the new page that opens, choose your preferred login method
  • In the new page, click on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’
  • The sequential order of questions will now appear on your screen with the closest correct answer as per NTA
  • In case of discrepancy with the answer to any question, choose the correct option from the choices by checking the box against them
  • Upload your supporting documents, argument for the objection
  • In the next step, ‘Save and Claim’ your objection
  • Pay the processing fee
