The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar has released the answer key for the NEST Exam 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download the NEST 2023 Answer Key from the official website - nestexam.in. The answer key for all the NEST papers: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology has been released. Notably, the NEST 2023 Exam was conducted on June 24, in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. 

The exam was conducted in two sessions 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and 02:30 PM to 06:00 PM, across 122 cities throughout the country. As per the official schedule, the NEST 2023 Result will be declared on July 10, 2023. Candidates must also note that the NISER will also be accepting challenges/objections against the NEST 2023 Answer Key. Candidates will be able to challenge the NEST Answer Key 2023 from June 28 to 30, 2023. 

The NEST 2023 Exam paper had a total of four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology, with each section carrying 50 marks. However, the final merit list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared based on the scores of the best three sections attempted by each candidate. The section in which a candidate scores the lowest marks will be discarded. Moreover, a correct answer will be rewarded with 2.5 marks, while incorrect answers will attract a penalty of -1. About NEST Exam

The NEST Exam is a national-level entrance exam for admissions into 5-year Integrated M.Sc programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

Candidates who join these integrated M.Sc programmes through the NISER NEST screening test at the aforementioned institutes receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000, under the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. An additional grant of Rs 20,000 is also awarded to these students per annum for summer internships.
