NEET 2019: NTA changes centres due to General Elections, issues fresh admit cards for May 5 exam

NTA has changed the examination centres for the Sunday, 5th May Examination 2019 citing General Elections 2019 and other unavoidable reasons.

NEET 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the examination centres for the Sunday, 5th May Examination 2019 citing General Elections 2019 and other unavoidable reasons. NTA has released a list of cities in which the exam centres have been either changed or their address is rectified. Candidates who’ve been hit by this last-minute change have been notified via SMS, email and voice message to download their fresh admit cards from the official website of NTA for National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) UG 2019. For a total of 25 exam centres, the address has been corrected with minor rectifications, 42 exam centres have been changed and 17 new exam centres have been set up. The affected exam centres are located in Delhi; Bhilai Distdurg in Chhattisgarh; Rajkot & Surat in Gujarat; Kalaburgi, Gulbarga, Bengaluru & Mysore in Karnataka; Palakkad & Alappuzha in Kerala; Amravati, Latur, Nanded, Satara, Akola, Aurangabad, Navi Mumbai, Nashik in Maharashtra; Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner in Rajasthan; Ghaziabad, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh; Kolkata & Howrah in West Bengal; Silchar in Assam; Shimla in Himachal Pradesh; Ranchi in Jharkhand; Indore in Madhya Pradesh; Imphal in Manipur; Shillong in Meghalaya; Agartala in Tripura; Madurai in Tamil Nadu; Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir; and Balasore in Odisha, The complete list can be checked below: Check the Changed NEET 2019 Exam Centres here The concerned candidates must apprise themselves with the new examination centre location to arrive for the NEET UG 2019 exam on time. “Candidates are also advised to acquaint themselves with the location of the new Examination Centre allotted now, so that they do not face any difficulty in reaching the newly allotted Examination Centre,” read an important suggested by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET UG 2019 is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 5th May 2019 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates must note the following important timings so as to appear for the exam without any delay: Last Entry in the Examination Centre - 1.30 pm (Entry after 01:30 pm shall not be permitted in the Examination Centre under any circumstances.) Sitting on the seat in the Examination Hall/Room - 1.15 pm Announcement of Important Instructions and Checking of Admit Cards by the Invigilator - 1.30 pm to 1.45 pm Distribution of Test Booklet by the Invigilator - 1.45 pm Writing of particulars on the Test Booklet by the Candidate - 1.50 pm NEET 2019 Commences - 2.00 pm NEET 2019 Concludes - 5.00 pm
