The Ministry Of Education And Meta has launched the 'Education to Entrepreneurship' initiative.

The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Meta (formerly Facebook) jointly introduced an initiative titled "From Education to Entrepreneurship: Empowering Students, Educators, and Entrepreneurs." The primary objective of this initiative is to support and inspire young individuals to transform their educational foundation into thriving ventures. Meta initiated this collaboration with both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. During the launch event, Meta announced three significant partnerships, attended by Union Minister for Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan, and Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Letters of intent were exchanged with the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says, "It is PM Modi's dream and commitment to make India a skill hub of the world...Today we signed an entrepreneurship MoU with technology company Meta and a skill development department institution. An MoU was signed to increase CBSE school's engagement with Meta, increase AI, and VR capacity and increase knowledge of technology. Similarly, there is a tie-up between AICT and Meta for capacity building of the startups that are associated with AICTE. All these three agreements are a step towards creating a future-ready human resource."

Sandhya Devanathan, the Head of Meta in India, addressed the event and highlighted Meta's strong dedication to India's future. She characterized this partnership as a vivid manifestation of Meta's enduring commitment to shaping India's trajectory.
