Metro Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2021: National Apprentice Promotion Scheme (NAPS) has invited online applications for the recruitment of apprentices in Kolkata metro railways on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions online at apprenticeshipindia.org. Candidates applying for the positions should have passed the class 8th or class 10th examination.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 123 vacancies, out of which, 76 vacancies are for Fitter, 23 for Electrician, and 8 each for Machinist, Welder (Gas & Electric), and Plumber.  

Eligibility Criteria: 

Candidates who are applying for welder (gas and electric) positions should have passed the class 8th exam from a recognized board. Those who are wishing to apply for posts such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, and Plumber must have passed the class 10th board examination.

Salary: 

1. Fitter: Rs. 7,700 to 10,000

2. Electrician: Rs. 7,700 to 10,000

3. Machinist: Rs. 7,700 to 10,000

4. Welder (Gas & Electric): Rs. 7,700 to 10,000

5. Plumber: Rs. 7,700 to 10,000

Selection Criteria: 

Candidates will be selected for the positions based on their performance in the interview. The list of shortlisted candidates will be released on the official website.
