KSET 2023: KEA Extends Application Deadline Till October 9 - Check Details

The KEA will conduct the KSET 2023 Exam on November 26 in two shifts for a total of 41 different subjects.

The Kerala Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the application deadline for the KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) 2023 Exam. Interested candidates who are yet to apply for the exam can submit their KSET 2023 applications till October 9, 2023. The KSET 2023 application cum registration forms are to be submitted online on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. As per the earlier schedule, the last date to apply for the KSET 2203 Exam was September 30, 2023. 

The KEA notified the extension of the KSET 2023 Application deadline through an official notice on its website. “The date for submission of online application for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) - 2023 for the post of Assistant Professor will be extended from 03.10.2023, 5.00 pm to 09.10.2023, 5.00 pm,” reads the official notice.

While the applicatiosn deadline for KSET 2023 closes on October 9, registered candidates may note that they will be able to pay their KSET 2023 Application Fee through post offices till October 11, 2023. "The last date for payment of fees through digitized post offices is extended till 11.10.2023," the notice adds.

Interested candidates may also note that while submitting the KSET 2023 Applications, candidates from the general category, CAT-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, and those from other states will be required to pay an application fee of of Rs 1,000, while candidates from the CAT-1A, SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 700. 

Notably, as per the official schedule, the KSET 2023 Exam will be held on November 26, 2023. The KEA will conduct the exam to shortlist assistant professors for various colleges in Karnataka. The KSET 2023 Exam will be conducted for a total of 41 subjects. Moreover, the exam will be held in two sessions: 10 am to 11 am, and 12 noon to 2 pm, where the exam paper will have multiple-choice questions. 

While the Paper-1 shall consist of 50 questions with a maximum of 100 marks, the second paper shall consist of 100 questions for a maximum of 200 marks. For more details on the KSET 2023 Exam, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
