JNU Admission 2025: First Merit List For UG, COP Courses Out — Check Important Dates

JNU Admission 2025: Successful applicants proceed to admission registration and document verification starting July 30 (UG) and August 4 (COP).

JNU Admission 2025: Big update for students awaiting admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the university has released the first merit list for Undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses for the academic session 2025.

Applicants can now check the merit list by logging in at the official website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in using their credentials.

Last Date to Check First Merit List

According to JNU’s official notice, students must check the first merit list by July 26, 2025. The list includes the candidate's name, category, scores, selected subject, and college name and determines eligibility for admission into JNU’s prestigious programs.

Admission and Document Verification 

Following the release of the merit list, the next steps are admission registration and physical document verification.

For UG courses, this process will begin on July 30. For COP courses, it starts on August 4.

Students must visit the JNU campus for verification and complete the admission formalities, including payment of the admission fee. Those who fail to do so will risk losing their seats to the next eligible candidates in the upcoming merit lists.

Second Merit List 

In case the candidates miss the first merit list, JNU will release the second merit list on August 1, 2025. Students not selected in the first round still have a chance in the next one.

  • View your merit status on screen.
  • Download and print a copy for future reference.
