Now That SC Has Dismissed Plea For Postponement Of Exams, Here Is An Update On Important Upcoming Exams

After the Supreme Court refused to hear review petitions for postponement of exams, it seems that upcoming exams will go as per schedule given by the National Testing Agency. Here's an update on important exams.

NEET JEE Exams 2020: On Friday, 4th September 2020, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by ministers of six states seeking review of the court's August 17 order to conduct NEET-UG and JEE (Mains) examinations. Six state government ministers of Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh had approached the apex court on 28 August seeking a postponement. This comes after the SC had taken a similar decision on a plea by students seeking deferment of the NEET and JEE exams due to rising Covid 19 cases. It is now confirmed that exams will continue as per schedule. ALSO READ| UGC NET Exam 2020: Admit Cards To Be Released Soon; Know Steps To Download, Syllabus And Important Links Here is an update on the ongoing and upcoming exams Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)- Ongoing The JEE Mains 2020 started from September 1 and will continue till tomorrow, September 6. The results of JEE Mains will be announced tentatively on September 10. JEE (Advanced)- Upcoming The JEE (Advanced) will be conducted on September 27. Anyone who wishes to appear for the Advanced assessments has to first sit for the Main exam. Earlier, the admit cards for the same were released from August 17 till September 6. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Upcoming NEET (UG) 2020 exam will be held on September 13. The admit cards for the same were made available from August 26 and will be accessible till September 13.The NTA had reopened the correction window option of NEET application form for registered candidates which had been extended till July 20. Around15.97 lakh candidates have registered for and NEET (UG) 2020 UGC National Eligibility Test- Upcoming The UGC NET is scheduled to be held on September 16 to 18 and then from September 21 to 25. It is expected that the admit card will be released today, Septemeber 5th. Candidates will be able to download the admit card till the exam date from the official website nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET)- upcoming The NTA will conduct the DUET exams from September 06th to 11th. The admit card was released on August 29th. Candidates can download their Admit Cards using  Form Number and Date Of Birth. Students are advised to check the Delhi University website for instructions on exams day. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the dates for other exams as well

  • Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) PhD Entrance Examination-2020- to be held on 4 October
  • All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET)-2020- 28 September,
  • Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) AIEEA 2020 -Bachelor Degree Programs (UG) - 7-8 September.
