JCECEB Admission 2021: Admission Process Begins For 3475 Seats In 11 Engineering Colleges

JCECEB Engineering Admission 2021: The process of preparing a merit list based on JEE Mains exam result for admission to 11 engineering colleges in Jharkhand is underway.

New Delhi: The process of preparing a merit list on the basis of JEE Mains examination result for admission to 11 government and private engineering colleges in Jharkhand has started. Successful candidates have been given application time till November 3 to include their names in the merit list.

Jharkhand Joint Entrance Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued information in this regard.

Admission Process Begins 

According to the information released, a total of 3,475 seats are available in engineering colleges in the state this year. After the merit list is prepared, the board will initiate the process of counselling for admission.

The information says that if there is an error in the application for the merit list, then applicants will be given time from November 4 to 6 to correct the same.

An application fee of Rs.500/- has been fixed for general, economically weaker, and backward caste applicants and Rs.250/- for SC, ST, and women candidates of all categories.

The Board has informed that the provisional merit list will be issued on November 10 by shortlisting the applicants. In case of any objection to the list, a complaint can be lodged from November 10 to 11. The publication of the final merit list will be released on November 14. Thereafter, successful applicants will be able to take online admission in the allotted institutions. 

Last Date To Submit Application 

According to reports, 680 seats are available in government engineering college BIT Sindri, while 210 seats are available in University College of Engineering and Technology Hazaribagh. Similarly in private engineering colleges, seats are available as mentioned. RamGovind Institute of Technology Koderma 336, Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus in Bokaro 300, RTC Institute of Technology Ranchi 210, BA College of Engineering and Technology Jamshedpur 174, KK College of Engineering and Management Dhanbad 420. Admission will begin for 350 seats in RVS College of Engineering and Technology Jamshedpur, 390 in Cambrian Institute of Technology, 180 in DAV College of Engineering and Technology Palamu, and 225 in Maryland Institute of Technology and Management Jamshedpur.
