Jammu and Kashmir JKCET 2023 Application Deadline Extended Till April 30 - Know Details

Candidates can submit their JKCET 2023 Applications for engineering courses till April 30, 2023, on jkbopee.gov.in.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has extended the JKCET 2023 Application Deadline for engineering courses. Candidates who are yet to register for the JKCET 2023 Exam can do the same and submit their applications online on the official website - jkbopee.gov.in, till April 30, 2023. As per the previou schedule, the last day to apply for JKCET 2023 was April 24, 2023. The board announced the extension of the exam registration deadline through an official notice on its website. 

“In view of the poor response to Notification No. 022-BOPEE of 2023 dated 02-04-2023, it is hereby notified for information of all such eligible candidates who are interested for admission to Bachelor of Engineering & Technology Courses-2023 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K/ UT of Ladakh, that the Board has extended the last date for submission of online Application Forms from 24-04-2023 to 30-04-2023 (mid-night),” reads the official notice on the website. 

As per the official announcement, the JKCET 2023 Exam will be held on May 28, 2023. The JKCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the JKBOPEE every year for screening of students for admissions into B.E and B.Tech programmes in various colleges across Jammu and Kashmir. The JKCET 2023 Exam for Engineering will be conducted in the offline mode. The exam paper will have a total of 180 questions spread across three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each of these sections would consist of 60 questions. 

While applying for the JKCET 2023, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. Candidates who have completed their class 12th from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate marks can apply for the JKCET 2023 (Engineering). JKCET 2023: How To Apply?

  • Visit the official website - jkbopee.gov.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Common Entrance Test (Engineering)’ link under the ‘Exam’ section
  • In the new page that opens, click on the link to JKCET 2023 (Engineering) Application
  • In the new pop-up window that opens, read the instructions carefully, check the acknowledgement box, and click on apply
  • Fill in the application form with all required details
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application form
