JAM 2024: IIT Madras To Close Application Window Today, Apply Now On jam.iitm.ac.in
The IIT JAM 2024 Exam will be held on february 11, 2024, and registered candidates will be able to download their admit cards from January 8, 2024.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) will close the online application window for the IIT JAM (Joint Admissions Test for Masters) 2024 Exam. Interested candidates who wish to appear for the exam for admission into postgraduate and research courses in Sciences by the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) can apply for the JAM 2024 Exam online on the official website - jam.iitm.ac.in, by today.
As per the official schedule, the IIT Madras will conduct the JAM 2024 Exam on February 11, 2024. The exam will be held in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Registered candidates will be able to download their JAM 2024 Admit Cards from January 8, 2024 onwards.
While the IIT Madras (JAM 2024 conducting institute) will be holding the IIT JAM 2024 Exam for 7 subjects, where candidates will be able to apply for maximum two subjects. The application fee for JAM 2024 for one paper is Rs 900 for Female, SC/ ST/ PwD candidates and Rs 1,900 for all other candidates. For two papers for, the JAM 2024 Application Fee for Female, SC/ ST/ PwD candidates is Rs 1,250, and Rs 2,500 for all other candidates.

Notably, conducted by the IITs every year, the JAM is a highly competitive national-level exam for selecting suitable candidates for admissions into various postgraduate programmes like M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), M.Sc. - M. Tech Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. - Ph.D., and M.Sc. - Ph.D. Dual Degree offered by the IITs. Approximately 3,000 seats shall be on offer for admissions through the JAM 2024 exam.
Those candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognized university in the concerned subject they wish to seek postgraduate admission in, or those who are currently in the final year of their degree programmes are eligible to apply for the IIT JAM 2024 Exam. However, since each participating institute in the JAM 2024 has a different eligibility criteria for its specific programmes, candidates are advised to duly check the eligibility criteria of their selected programme of study by the respective institute.

- Register online by furnishing your basic details
- Login to the portal using your system-generated credentials
- Fill in the JAM 2024 Application Form
