IIT Roorkee: 100% Placement Record For MBA Graduates, Highest Salary Offered At Rs 27.94 Lakh

The Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee has recorded 100 percent placements for the MBA batch of 2023.

IIT Roorkee has recorded 100 percent placement for the MBA batch of 2023. The Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee has yet again recorded 100 percent placements in its 25th year. 

This year's highest annual salary package for an MBA student stands at Rs 27.94 lakhs per annum (LPA), while the average and median salaries are recorded at Rs 18.34 lakh and Rs 18.09 lakh, respectively.

Prof. (Dr.) Usha Lenka, Head of the department, DoMS, IIT Roorkee said: “175-year-old heritage of IIT Roorkee and the 25-year-old legacy of the Department of Management Studies, brings along a rich alumni base to etch a mark in the management education space of the Country. This placement season witnessed participation from 50+ corporates, comprising of both new recruiters and several prominent legacy partners, leading to a significant uptick in the overall Placement Figures including the average and highest CTC, coupled with an increase in the number of Pre-Placement Offers. This year there was also an increase in the variety of roles being offered with additional profiles in the domains of General Management, Marketing and Finance along with Operations, IT & Analytics.

Operations, IT & Analytics: 19.36 Lakhs Per Annum

General Management: 18.39 Lakhs Per Annum

Marketing: 18.29 Lakhs Per Annum

Finance: 15.98 Lakhs Per Annum

Accenture Strategy, Adani, Bank of America, Barclays, Bristlecone, Cognizant, CyberTech, Dell Technologies, Deloitte, EXL, EY, GAIL, HCL, Godrej, IBM, HDFC, ICICI, Infosys, Morgan Stanley, Paytm, Vedanta, Whirlpool, and several other companies emerged as top recruiters.
