IIT Kanpur Launches 4 E-Masters Programmes For Working Professionals, GATE Score Not Required

IIT Kanpur has launched an e-learning programme for working youth. This e-programme will help working youth enhance their skills.

Kanpur: IIT Kanpur has launched an e-learning programme for working professionals. Under this program, 4 new postgraduate programs will be launched. The e-programme launched by IIT Kanpur will give a golden opportunity to the working youth to be skilled. On e-programs, Abhay Karandikar, director of the institute, said the e-Masters program, which begins in the first month of 2022, will help boost professionals' skills and enhance their career options quickly.

The qualification for admission to courses launched by IIT Kanpur requires a minimum of 55% marks in graduate or post-graduate programmes. However, GATE score is not required to take admission to all these courses launched by IIT Kanpur. Candidates desirous of enrolling in the e-Masters programme will get 4 options including communication system cyber security, power sector regulation, economics and management, and derivatives market and risk management programmes.

With 12 modules, the industry-centric deadline for completing this programme has been fixed at a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. All classes will be conducted online for those enrolled in the programme, though they will get a chance to visit the campus for 15 days.
