IIT JAM 2021 Registrations Begin Today; Check Steps To Apply Online At jam.iisc.ac.in

IIT JAM 2021: The online registration and application for IIT- Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT-JAM) 2021 begins today at jam.iisc.ac.in.

IIT JAM 2021: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore will conduct the IIT- Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT-JAM) 2021 on February 14, for which online registration and application begin today, i.e. Thursday (September 10).   • Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2021 - jam.iisc.ac.in
  • Step 2: On the home page, click on the tab 'Candidate Portal (JOAPS)'
  • Step 3: Create a login account using your valid e-mail ID, mobile number and password. Upon successful registration, an E-mail containing the candidate’s Enrollment ID will be sent to the E-mail address provided by the candidate.
  • Step 4: Once registered successfully, fill the application form. Upload photograph, signature and other documents like category certificate (if applicable), PwD certificate (if applicable), etc.
  • Step 5: Proceed to pay the application fee through any of the electronic payment modes.
JAM 2021 Application Fee Registration fee for candidates belonging to the general category is Rs 1500 for one paper and Rs 2100 for two papers. The female candidates or students belonging to ŚC/ST/PwD category are required to pay Rs 750 for one test paper and Rs 1050 for two test papers. ALSO READ | Maharashtra Scraps 70:30 Quota For Admissions In Medical Courses; Know What It Means JAM 2021 Test Schedule: The JAM 2021 Online Examination will be held on February 14, 2021 (Sunday) in two sessions as a Computer Based Test (CBT). JAM 2021 will have seven Test Papers, namely, (i) Biotechnology (BT), (ii) Chemistry (CY), (iii) Economics (EN), (iv) Geology (GG), (v) Mathematics (MA), (vi) Mathematical Sciences (MS), and (vii) Physics (PH). Economics (EN) paper is added newly this year. All the seven Test Papers of JAM 2021 will be of entirely objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely (i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), (ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and (iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. A candidate can appear in either one or two test paper(s). However, a candidate can appear in two test papers, only if they are not scheduled in the same session.
