GUJCET 2023 Application Process Closes Today: Check Steps To Apply Online

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination Board (GJHSEB) will close the GUJCET 2023 Application Window today, January 20. Candidates who haven’t applied for the GUJCET 2023 state-level entrance test are advised to submit their applications on the official GUJCET website - gujcet.gseb.org, before the deadline ends.  

Notably, the GUJCET is a state-level examination conducted every year by the GJHSEB for admissions into various degree programmes in Engineering and Diploma/Degree Pharmacy in several colleges in the state of Gujarat. The GUJCET 2023 Application Fee is Rs 300 for all candidates. Submission of GUJCET 2023 Applications and payment of application fee are to be done in the online mode only on gujcet.gseb.org.

GUJCET 2023: Exam Pattern 

Although the GJHSES has not releaed the official brochure of GUJCET 2023, the exam pattern is less likely to change. The GUJCET 2023 Exam will be conducted is likely to be conducted in the usual offline pen and paper mode. The exam paper will be available in three languages: English, Hindi, and Marathi. The GUJCET 2023 question paper will consist of 120 multiple choice questions across three sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Each correct question would reward one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for negative answers.

GUJCET 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the admission into degree courses offered through the GUJCET 2023 Exam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have an Indian and Gujarati domicile
  • Passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board
  • Studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as the main subjects
  • Candidates should have scored 45% (40% for the reserved category) in Class 12

GUJCET 2023: How To Apply Online?

  • Visit the official GUJCET website - gujcet.gseb.org
  • On the homepage, click on ‘New Registration’
  • Register and then login to the portal again using your login credentials
  • Fill the GUJCET 2023 Application Form as instructed
  • Upload the application form and cross-verify the details furnished 
  • Pay the application fee and download the receipt
  • Download and save the application confirmation page for future reference
