GUJCET 2019 Exam Date Revised to 4th April 2019

This is the third time Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is announcing the exam date for GujCET 2019. As per the original schedule, the state-level engineering exam was to be held on 8th March 2019, but was rescheduled to 30th March 2019 due to Class 12th examination on the same day.

GUJCET 2019 Exam Date has been revised to 4th April 2019 instead of 30th March 2019 as declared earlier by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). As per a GSEB official, the decision comes in the wake of multiple representations made by candidates on pretext of having another important central examination on 30th March 2019. This is the third time Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is announcing the exam date for GujCET 2019. As per the original schedule, the state-level engineering exam was to be held on 8th March 2019, but was rescheduled to 30th March 2019 due to Class 12th examination on the same day. As per the latest update, GSEB will now organize the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GujCET) 2019 on the newly proposed date i.e. 4th April 2019 for candidates seeking admissions to various engineering programmes like B.Tech/B.E. and Degree/Diploma courses in Pharmacy offered by the government, government-aided and self-financed institutions in the state of Gujarat. GUJCET 2019 Result is expected to be declared in the last week of May 2019 or first week of June 2019. GUJCET 2019 will be organized in three languages viz English, Hindi and Gujarati. Candidates will be given 3 hours to attempt the same. The entrance exam has 3 papers and questions are based on Chemistry and Physics, Biology and Mathematics. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) carries a total of 120 marks while each paper carries 40 marks. Last year, GujCET 2018 was held on 23rd April 2018 and a massive 1.34 lac candidates had appeared for the same.
