DU UG Spot Round 1 Admission 2024 To Start Tomorrow On admission.uod.ac.in

The DU UG Spot Round 1 admission link for 2024 will remain active until September 19 on the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.

Delhi University (DU) will begin the registration process for the first round of spot admissions tomorrow, September 18. The list of vacant seats will be available at 10 AM the same day. As per reports, 72,263 seats have been confirmed. Interested candidates can apply for DU UG spot admissions through the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in. The application window will open on September 18 at 10 AM and close on September 19 at 11:59 PM. Seat allocations will be announced on September 21 at 3 PM. The university will begin verifying and approving online applications for the first round of spot admissions by 4:59 PM on September 23.

DU UG Spot Round 1 Admissions 2024: Eligibility

Candidates who applied for CSAS UG 2024 but have not secured admission to any college by 5 PM on September 17 are eligible for the first round of spot admissions. Once the deadline passes, the dashboard for admitted candidates will be locked, preventing any further withdrawals.

To participate in spot admissions, candidates must select the 'Spot Admission' option on their dashboard and can only choose Program + College combinations where seats are available according to their category. Candidates must accept the seat offered in Spot Round 1, as failure to do so will disqualify them from future admission rounds, removing them from the entire process.

The university clarified that candidates can only select program-college combinations where seats are vacant, based on their category. Acceptance of the allocated seat is mandatory, as failure to do so will disqualify candidates from further participation in the admission process, and they will be removed from the CSAS(UG) 2024 admissions.

Additionally, there will be no option for upgrading or withdrawing seats during the Spot Admission rounds. The seat allocated in a particular spot round will be final and will not be subject to any future upgrades. Moreover, all admitted candidates' dashboards will be locked in freeze mode after 5 PM on September 17, preventing further withdrawal from the admissions process.
