CTET 2024 Exam Date Rescheduled To December 14 Due To Clash With Competitive Exams

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam date has been revised the exam date.

CTET 2024 Exam Date Changed: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam date has been rescheduled to December 14, 2024, due to a clash with other competitive exams. The decision to reschedule the CTET 2024 exam to December 14 was made after receiving representations from candidates, highlighting that several competitive exams are set for December 15. This adjustment ensures that candidates appearing for multiple exams avoid scheduling conflicts.

“Now, as per the information received from various candidates, a few competitive examinations are scheduled to be held in some states/union territories on 15 December 2024 (Sunday). Hence, keeping in view the interest of the candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on 14th December 2024 (Saturday),” reads the official notice.

CBSE has announced that if the number of candidates in any city exceeds the available capacity, the CTET exam may also be conducted on December 15, 2024. This marks the second time the CTET December 2024 exam date has been revised, as it was initially scheduled for December 1 but postponed to December 15.

Currently, registration for CTET December 2024 is ongoing, with the last date to apply being October 16, 2024. Interested candidates can register through the official website, where a direct application link is available.

"The online application process is already started from 17/09/2024. The last date for submitting online application is 16/10/2024 (11.59 pm). The rest guidelines will remain same as mentioned in Information Bulletin," the notice added.
