CHSE Odisha Class 12 Board Exam 2024 Begins Today In 1160 Centres

The Class 12 Board Exams for CHSE Odisha 2024 commenced today across 1160 examination centres.

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has started the annual Plus-II examinations across the state. A total of 384,597 students from arts, science and commerce streams are participating in the exams, which commenced at 10 am. The examinations are taking place in 1,160 centers, with the majority under CCTV surveillance, said CHSE examination controller Ashok Nayak. Additionally, the school and mass education department has established squads at the district, zonal, and CHSE levels to oversee the examinations and deter any irregularities.

Nayak mentioned that permanent squads from the education department have been stationed in Angul, Keonjhar, and Koraput throughout the examination period to ensure swift responses to any irregularities occurring in remote areas of the district. The examinations are scheduled to conclude on March 20th.

Candidates have been advised to arrive at the centres 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Question papers will be distributed five minutes before the exam, he said.

Guidelines For Board Exams 2024:

1. Students are strongly advised to adhere to the exam day guidelines for the board exams. It is essential to familiarise themselves with the Class 10 and 12 exam guidelines to avoid any inconvenience.

2. Ensure to carry the admit card 2024 to the examination hall without fail.

3. Arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam commencement time to avoid any last-minute rush or delays.

4. Borrowing of stationery items is strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Therefore, students must ensure to carry all necessary stationery items required for the examination.

5. Refrain from engaging in any unfair means during the examination, as it may result in the cancellation of the student’s examination.

6. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, etc., are not permitted inside the examination hall. Ensure to adhere to this guideline strictly.
