CTET July 2024: Registrations Begin On ctet.nic.in - Check Details Here

As per the official schedule, the CTET July 2024 Exam will be held on July 7, 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the online application process for the CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) July 2024. Interested candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their registration cum application forms on the official website - ctet.nic.in. The last date to apply for the CTET July 2024 Exam is April 2, 2024. The CBSE notified the commencement of the registration process through an official notice on its website. As per the official announcement, the CTET July 2024 Exam will be held on July 7, 2024. 

“The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 19th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 07-07-2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 136 cities all over the country. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website https://ctet.nic.in/. The online application process will start from 07/03/2024. The last date for submitting online application is 02/04/2024 (11:59 PM),” reads the official notice. 

Notably, the CTET is a national-level exam conducted by the CBSE to determine the eligibility of candidates for Central Government Teaching Jobs. Interested candidates may note that the CTET July 2024 Exam will be held for two papers ; Paper-1 and Paper-2. While Paper-1 will be held to recruit teachers for Classes 1 to 5, Paper-2 will be held to shortlist teachers for Classes 6 to 8. 

While applying for the CTET July 2024, candidates can either choose to appear for any one of the papers or both the papers. The CTET July 2024 Application Fee for single paper for General/OBC(NCL) category candidates is Rs 1,000, and Rs 500 for SC, ST, and differently abled persons. The application fee for both the papers is Rs 1,200 for General/OBC(NCL) candidates, and Rs 600 for SC, ST, and differently abled persons.   • On the homepage, click on the link to apply for CTET July 2024
  • Register online and fill the application form 
  • Upload relevant documents in the prescribed format
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit the application form
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
