CTET January 2024: Application Window To Close Today On ctet.nic.in - Apply Now

The CBSE CTET January 2024 Exam will be held on January 18, 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the application window for the CBSE CTET January 2024 today. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to register for the exam can submit their applications for the CTET January 2024 on the official website - ctet.nic.in. As per the earlier schedule, the CTET 2024 registration deadline was November 23, 2023, which was later extended till November 27, 2023, by the CBSE. 

“This is in continuation to the earlier Public Notice dated 02.11.2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 18th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21-01-2024 (Sunday). Due to large number of aspiring candidates applying for CTET Examination, the last date for submitting online application has been extended up to 27-11-2023 and fee can be paid up to 27-11-2023 till 11:59 pm,” the CBSE said earlier in an official notice announcing the extension of the CTET January 2024 application extension. 

Candidates may note that the CBSE will conduct the CBSE CTET January 2024 exam on January 18, 2024. The exam is slated to be conducted at designated exam centres in around 135 cities across the country. The CTET January 2024 Exam will be held for two papers, and candidates can either choose to appear for one or both the papers of the examination. While the Paper-1 will be held for teachers for Classes 1 to 5, Paper-2 will be held for Classes 6 to 8. 

The CTET January 2024 Application for single paper is Rs 1,000, while that for both the papers is Rs 1,200. However, for candidates from the SC, ST and PwD categories, the application fee is Rs 500, and Rs 600, respectively.   • Visit the official website - ctet.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link to apply for CTET January 2024
  • Register online and fill in the application form
  • Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee online
  • Submit the application
  • Download the application confirmation page for future reference
