CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2023 Begin Today, Check Important Guidelines

Over 38 lakh students will appear in the CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 final exam 2023.

CBSE Board Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education begins the class 10 and class 12 final exams today, February 15. On the first day of the examination, Painting, Gurung, Rai, Tamang and Sherpa papers will be conducted for class 10 students and Entrepreneurship paper for class 12 students.

This year, over 38 lakh students have registered for the exam. For the CBSE Class 10, approximately 21,86,940 will appear for the exam out of which 9,39,566 are female and 12,47,364 are male candidates. For Class 12, approximately 16,96,770 students will write the paper out of which 7,45,433 are female candidates and 9,51,332 are male candidates.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams will conclude on March 21, while the Class 12 exams will continue till April 5. The exams will be held for 76 subjects in Class 10 and 115 subjects in Class 12. Admit cards for the CBSE board exams were issued last week. The exams will begin at 10:30 am, and no candidate is allowed to enter the exam venue after 10 am.

The use of Artificial Intelligence-based ChatGPT has been prohibited in class 10, 12 board exams by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), officials said on Tuesday. The use of ChatGPT will amount to using unfair means in the exam, the board officials said.

CBSE Board Exam 2023: Important Guidelines

  • Heavy clothes and jewelry are not allowed. Clothes that are embroidery-based, full-sleeved, and sarees are also not allowed. The dress code for the board exams is the school dress, and no other formal dress will be allowed.
  • Students must report to the exam venue at least one hour before the exam starts, and the exam center gates will close at 10 am.
  • Students must carry their admit card, no student will be allowed to take the exam without a hall ticket.
  • Students are not allowed to carry any electronic devices inside the exam centre. This includes using the device to access ChatGPT so that unfair means is. not used.
  • Only pens and colors as required by the subject will be allowed inside the exam hall.
