CBSE Board 10th Result 2020: Girls Outperform Boys Once Again With 93.31 Pass Percentage

Girls outshone boys this year with a pass percentage of 93.31 percent. Boys recorded a pass percentage of 90.14 percent.

CBSE Board 10th Result 2020: The CBSE has released the results for class 10 board exams today. Students can check the results on the official websites- cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in Girls performed better this year with 93.31 percent which is a 3.17 percent increase compared to the total number of boys passing this year which is 90.14. In fact, the pass percentages for boys according to the data from the board have shown no change from last year. ALSO READ| CBSE Board 10th Result 2020: Know All About Pass Percentages This Year The number of transgender students who passed this year is 78.95 percent. This year the passing percentage is 91.46 percent which is an increase of 0.36 % from the previous year. Last year the overall percentage was 91.10 percent. A total of 1889878 candidates appeared for CBSE 10th this year. These include 788195 girls, 1101664 boys, and 19 transgender. The wait of about 18 lakh students will end today. The Board can announce the result of CBSE 10th anytime today. Apart from the official websites are a number of platforms available to check the results this year. Students can use IVRS telephone numbers, and Apps such as- DigiLocker App, UMANG App, and DigiResults App.
