AP EAMCET Result 2019: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) was scheduled to release the result of Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2019 today i.e. on Wednesday, 1st May, 2019. However, the same has been deferred until third week of May 2019. A latest notice updated this afternoon on the official website of APSCHE reads, “AP EAMCET- 2019 results will be declared tentatively during 3rd week of May 2019.” No reason has been cited by APSCHE so far for the postponing of results. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada had organized AP EAMCET 2019 from 20 th April to 24 th April, 2019 in Computer Based Exam (CBE) mode on behalf of APSCHE. The Rank Cards of qualified candidates will be made available shortly on sche.ap.gov.in, once the result is released. Candidates must note that for AP EAMCET, the ranks are arrived at after giving 75% weightage to EAMCET normalized marks and 25% weightage to the marks obtained in Intermediate i.e. 10+2 exam in group subjects. For candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut off in AP EAMCET - 2019, if the marks in all the three subjects after normalization become negative, then the total marks is treated as zero and the rank is assigned based on 25% of Intermediate marks weightage. However, if the tie persists, then AP EAMCET – 2019 normalization marks even if negative are considered to break the tie. The AP EAMCET 2019 Counselling process is expected to begin in first week of June 2019, however, with the delay in results, the counselling process may also be pushed ahead. APSCHE will release the counselling schedule in due course of time. Candidates who’ve qualified the entrance exam must stay tuned to the official website to know the dates of counselling for the programme they wish to pursue. Online applications were invited from 26 th February 2019 to 27 th March 2019 for admissions to various courses including Engineering, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech.
