AP EAMCET 2025 Counselling Begins: Key Dates, Eligibility, And How To Apply

AP EAMCET 2025 counselling begins: Check key dates, eligibility, fee, and how to apply for engineering, pharmacy UG seats. Seat allotment will be done on July 22 and classes will start on August 4.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially launched the online counselling process for admissions to undergraduate courses through the AP EAMCET 2025 (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test), also known as AP EAPCET.

Candidates who cleared the entrance exam can now register for counselling through the official portal: https://eapcet-sche.aptonline.in/EAPCET.

Important Dates You Shouldn't Miss

As per the official schedule, eligible candidates can pay the counselling fee and complete the online application by July 16. The certificate verification process at designated help centres will continue until July 17, APSCHE has announced.

The web option entry window will remain open from July 13 to July 18, allowing candidates to choose their preferred colleges and courses. A one-time web option modification is permitted on July 19.

The results for the first phase of seat allotment will be declared on July 22. Candidates who are allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between July 23 and 26. Academic sessions for the new batch are scheduled to commence on August 4.

Counselling Fee and Eligibility Criteria

The processing fee is set at ₹1,200 for General (OC) and Backward Class (BC) candidates, while those from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories need to pay ₹600.

To be eligible for counselling, candidates must have passed their Intermediate (Class 12) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum aggregate required is 45% for General category students and 40% for reserved categories.

Applicants must also be Indian nationals and fulfil the local/non-local status criteria as per state guidelines.

Seat Reservation and Age Requirements

Out of the total seats available, 85% are reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh, while the remaining 15% are open to both local and non-local applicants.

For those seeking admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs, the candidate must have completed 16 years of age by December 31, 2025.

For Pharm D, the minimum age is 17 years by the same date.

Candidates applying for tuition fee reimbursement must also note the upper age limit — 25 years for General (OC) candidates and 29 years for others as on July 1, 2025.
